  • Can you provide information about how we are helping the sea turtles?

Shelly Cove® is proud to dedicate 10% of net profits to The Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue and Rehabilitation Center in Surf City, NC.   Money donated is used for the medical treatment and rehabilitation of injured and sick sea turtles.  Many turtles have a long recovery period of several years.
Shelly Cove® also makes additional donations quarterly to a selected sea turtle hospital or conservancy.  Details will be posted to our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages.


    • Where is your company located?

    Shelly Cove® is located in Jamestown, North Carolina.


    • What is your Return Policy?

    Our #1 Priority is your satisfaction.  If your purchase has a defect, please email us within 5 days of receiving your order at  Include photos of the damage and your order number so that we may begin the process of getting you a replacement item!

    We do accept exchanges for size adjustments.  Print and fill out this form and include it in the package with your exchange.  Read the terms carefully please.  All exchanges must be unwashed, in new and unworn condition, free of stains and odors.  Exchanges must be made within 14 days of receiving your order.  

    Once your exchange is processed, you will receive an email with shipping confirmation and an updated tracking number.

    We do not accept exchanges for color and pattern changes.  We are unable to offer jewelry exchanges.

    PLEASE NOTE: Refunds are not available on any store item.  

    We do not offer exchanges on international orders


    • What is your standard shipping time?

    Once we receive your order, if the item is in stock, items are shipped within 7 business days.  Shipments within the Continental US take an average shipping period of from 1-5 days.  We ship with the USPS.  We do offer worldwide shipping.


    • Can I exchange an item if I am not from the United States?
     Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate exchanges for customers outside of the U.S.


    • Only part of my order was shipped.  Where is the rest?
    We want you to have your Shelly Cove items as quickly as possible!  To avoid delaying your Shelly Cove, we split orders and ship items as they become available.  You will find a packing slip with the backordered items marked for your convenience.


    • Will I be able to track my order?

    Yes!  We want you to know when to expect your Shelly Cove® purchase!  You will receive an email confirmation @ the email address you entered when you placed your order.  Note, this order number is NOT your tracking number.  If you do not receive a confirmation, please check the email provided for the occasional error.

    A second email notification will be sent when your order ships with a provided tracking number. 


    • What are my payment options and when am I charged?

    We accept MasterCard, Visa, Diner's Club, JCB, Discover and American Express payments as well as PayPal.

           Charges are incurred at the time you place your order; this is how our site platform operates.


    • Do you have any stickers or promotional materials for me?

    Surprise!  With every apparel order, you will receive a sticker, special offers postcard, and a turtle charm as a token of our thanks for partnering with us to share the seas and shores with the Sea Turtles.


    • What if I made a mistake, can I cancel or change my order?

    Yes, please email us within 12 hours.  You will receive an email from us advising you that your order has been cancelled or changed.

    • How should I wash my garment dyed Comfort Colors Shirts?
           Garment dyed shirts from Comfort Colors should be washed in cold water with mild soap.  
           We recommend you wash your shirt separately for the first several washings.  Pigment dyed
           garments can potentially fade or bleed onto other articles of clothing.  It is not advisable to use
           stain removers/sticks on pigment dyed garments; the color could potentially be removed.  


    • Do you have a sizing chart to help me?

    Of course!  We are happy to assist.  You can find our sizing chart here, and on each product page.  Remember that measurements shown are in inches.
