OUR STORY
Hey, I’m Matt, Founder of Shelly Cove! Back in 2015, my family launched Shelly Cove out of our garage. We knew nothing about business, but were passionate about creating a brand centered on saving sea turtles.
Fast forward five years, we’ve outgrown our space twice, tripled our team and are still growing! We’re thrilled to continue learning, giving back and creating awesome products.

THE KAREN BEASLEY TURTLE HOSPITAL
This turtle hospital inspired us to create Shelly Cove and is our primary beneficiary.
RESCUE When injured or sick sea turtles are found on South Eastern beaches, the KBTH is on call to give immediate aid.
REHABILITATION The hospital is always equipped with the necessary facilities to give these little guys the perfect home for getting back in the ocean.
RELEASE The end goal of the KBTH is to return turtles back to their home — the ocean! They also keep watch and protect nesting areas.

Donated $15,000 for the sea turtle crisis during Texas snowstorms.
SCHOLARSHIP
Established the "Karen Schroeder Shelly Cove Marine Biology Scholarship," in honor of our late co-founder, Karen. Marine Biology students at UNC Wilmington are eligible to win the annual $5,000 scholarship.
CHATTANOOGA FOOD BANK
We’ve provided over 10,000 meals to Chattanooga Food Bank. We donate our time serving as a team, and our boxes every month which they use for delivering meals.
NONPROFIT
Over $10,000 donated to various non-profits through flash promotions.
AWARENESS
Raised awareness on the issue of single-use plastics to millions of people! #skiptheplastic
CLEAN WATER ACT
Given over 12,000 people clean water for a year.
CRISIS RELIEF
Donated $30,000 to the Australian Red Cross during the wildfire crisis.
BREAST CANCER RESEARCH
Donated $2500 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
