How a T-Shirt can Feed the Community

How a T-Shirt can Feed the Community

As we move into Thanksgiving week this year, so much is up in the air. (Hopefully, not the turkey)

But we’ve been taking so much encouragement from the fact that — even during such a crazy year — people are still committed to doing GOOD.

So we said let’s keep this good going!

You may have seen the sneak peaks already, but now through December 1st, our exclusive Feed the Community Tee will be available on the website

This is another really special one, because each tee sold = 100 cans of food donated to community members in need.

Who's making it happen?

We love our friends at national and even international charities, however this holiday season we wanted to purposefully look in our own backyard and identify concrete ways to make our local communities better, safer, healthier places.

Our team recently started partnering with the Chattanooga Area Food Bank (CAFB) in their mission to feed thousands of individuals and families, eliminating hunger and increasing nutrition across the region.

They have let us safely volunteer employee hours to make meals and package sack lunches.

They help Shelly Cove recycle shipping boxes into carriers for meal drop-offs.

They are proving every day that small actions really do add up—and change lives.

Through donations and volunteer work, the CAFB are able to serve 3 warm meals a day, 365 days a year, helping to eliminate hunger in the Chattanooga area.

How can you help?

Each Feed the Community tee sold = 100% of profits donated = 100 cans of food donated! (The Food Bank team are experts at making one can of food go a loooong way.)

And if you’d like to donate directly, check out their website

This Thanksgiving, let’s encourage living with thankfulness and generosity in our own neighborhoods.

Our announcement is in response to the global GivingTuesday initiative that encourages individuals and organizations to do what they can to improve their corner of the world.

Last year, you helped us donate 5,000 cans of food to the CABF. This year, our goal is to sell enough shirts to donate 20,000 cans.

Think we can do it??

So far, YOU have helped us donate over a quarter of a million dollars to conservation efforts and charities.
